Language Certifications

The game is not about the certificates but the confidence level that you develop within you to speak in Japanese Language. However, the certifications guide us and give us a picture on how to proceed in learning the language. There are two popular certifications. They are :
1. BJT (Business Japanese Test). This test is conducted twice in a year. The test centres are at Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. Applicants appearing for this test get their levels based upon their scores in this exam. It is basically Listening and Reading test. 2. JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
This test is conducted only once in a year and that too is December. It is paper-based MCQ test. It tests the understanding of Grammar, Verbs, Adjectives, Vocabulary, Script, etc. The applicants take this exam applying for a specific level and if they don't get enough score to qualify for that level then it means they missed the bus. Starting with the Script

The Japanese Language contains 3 scripts - Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. Hiragana and Katakana are Kana (Characters) Scripts and Kanji is a Script that contains the Graphical Characters. Kana is taught - both Hiragana, Katakana in the Basic course.
There are about 46 characters in each of the Kana Scripts (Hiragana and Katakana).
Hiragana is used to write the Japanese Native words where as Katakana is used to write words borrowed from Other Languages (especially English).
Now coming to the Kanji Script, there are about 50,000 Kanji Characters. Even the most native Japanese speakers know a fraction of 50,000 by heart. Infact Japanese students are required to learn only 2000 of them and about half of those are required to read a typical Japanese Newspaper.

Given the opportunities in Japan as numerous, as Competing and Challenging as in the West, why is that the Indian Talent (who are one of the Global heroes) feeling it difficult to swim the Blue Ocean. The Best Answer to this Question is : "Language".

Then why NOT we make this blog as one of the Japanese Language Resources and thus being as one of the facilitators for the people who are willing and determined to cross the Blue Ocean.
